Our Organisation
Synoptix is a Systems Engineering Consultancy engaging industry both in the Public and Private sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Marine and Automotive. Formed in 2011 we provide engineering solutions championing Systems Engineering both as a holistic philosophy, and as a practical toolset.
We deliver high integrity complex integrated systems utilising highly qualified engineering expertise. We currently have around 100 staff and Associates all of which are security vetted and are largely highly qualified Engineers who are generally not in any category which is seen to be vulnerable to modern slavery in this country. They are all based in the UK, mainly in our Bristol office but also working from home and on client sites throughout the UK. Consequently, our main focus is to ensure there are policies and due diligence procedures in place for our suppliers.
Our Supply Chain
Synoptix ltd uses a range of suppliers who supply services and support typical of a medium sized Engineering Service company.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, helping to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business. We expect all those in our supply chain to comply with this approach and are committed to continuously improving our practices to identify and eliminate any slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Due Diligence
Synoptix ltd continue to monitor the suppliers in our supply chain. We will assess any instances of non‐compliance on a case‐by‐case basis. Should a supplier fail to provide the information requested or to meet our expectations, we will take appropriate action. For example, this may include not entering into a relationship or suspending/terminating our relationship with a supplier or asking a supplier not to procure goods from a particular factory.
Looking Ahead
Over the course of the next financial year we will continue to enhance our procedures to help us identify, prevent and mitigate any risks of modern slavery or human trafficking in relation to new and existing suppliers and in relation to our own operations.
