Our customer required a broad search of current and emerging science and technology to discover and identify new, solutions-relevant concepts to military command, control, communications, computers, cyber and information (C5I), which are likely to emerge in the Generation After Next (GAN).

Our approach

The Synoptix team carried out a literature review of industrial, academic and military sources to capture a wide range of potential technologies for consideration via a scoring mechanism. The more promising and appropriate tech was further assessed and discussed with key stakeholders. This information was used to create a 'future tech radar,' utilising a technology taxonomy.
