Complex projects are often hit with schedule, performance and budget challenges. Systems engineering can 'left-shift' effort to realise a more robust design and reduce risks or issues from the project. Here, we carried out an assessment of National Audit Office reports of UK/AUS Defence programmes.

Our approach

Using the ISO15288 framework (organisation, technical, management processes) we identified and allocated risks/issues to the ISO15288 processes and sub-processes. Through analysis, we identified the root cause and options for mitigation action.
