Synoptix participated in a discovery phase to understand the stakeholder needs for a digital twin of a JSE (SMC Marchwood). The project was in support of a pilot programme, which aimed to clear the path for digital twin adoption across a further 15 JSEs.
Our approach
At project inception, the stakeholder needs and benefits were ill defined but substantial planning had already been conducted and tooling down-selected. Synoptix captured stakeholder requirements across three areas:
Operational decision making
Strategic decision making
Operational and strategic risk reduction
Benefits
With a thorough approach, including engaging with key stakeholders, the Synoptix team was able to develop the digital twin requirements, acceptance approach, risks, benefits and evaluation plan, along with producing a realisation plan.
